Denholm Zholdas, Kazakhstan's largest specialist turnaround and maintenance contractor to the oil and gas industry, has been awarded its first contract with Tecnimont S.p.A., a subsidiary of MAIRE S.p.A., to provide material handling services at the Silleno polyethylene production complex in the Atyrau region.
Under the agreement, Denholm Zholdas will provide skilled manpower and lifting equipment, including 50-tonne and 80-tonne cranes, forklifts with capacity up to 10 tonnes, pallets, and trailers. The contract is effective from July and will run through the completion of construction and subsequent commissioning of the facility. The award allows Denholm Zholdas to establish an early presence on site, positioning the company to grow alongside the project as it advances toward completion, and marks its entry into a new client relationship with Tecnimont.
Denholm Zholdas has provided specialist industrial services to the oil and gas sector in Kazakhstan since 1999. Tecnimont S.p.A. is the EPC contracting subsidiary of MAIRE S.p.A., delivering large-scale petrochemical and energy projects worldwide.
