A world-class name in specialist energy services has expanded its engineering footprint in Abu Dhabi.
Denholm Energy Services Limited has acquired Abu Dhabi based NDT specialist, Alfa Technical Services, for an undisclosed sum from the local owners. The move is seen as key to further increasing the Group’s foothold in traditional and emerging energy markets and growing its Middle East presence.
Alfa Technical Services has an enviable reputation for reliable, ethical and high-quality service provision. All management and staff will remain with the Company.
The acquisition will form part of Denholm Energy’s engineering division which has over 400 staff with operations in Aberdeen, Glenrothes, Plymouth, Portsmouth, Falmouth, Bahrain, Saudi Arabi, Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Michael Beveridge, CEO of Denholm Energy commented: “The acquisition of Alfa Technical Services continues our growth trajectory, adding geographical presence, scale and additional specialised service offerings to what we already offer throughout in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. The business will be led by Niyas Kasim reporting into Paul Fisher, Managing Director of the Denholm Energy engineering operations.
