Denholm Energy Services Limited has acquired Glasgow based weld clad overlay specialists, Glacier Welding Solutions Limited for an undisclosed sum from parent company Glacier Energy Holdings Limited. The move is seen as key to further increasing the company’s foothold in traditional energy markets and growing its UK presence.
Glacier Welding Solutions has an enviable reputation for reliable, ethical and high-quality service provision. All management and staff will remain with the Company.
The acquisition will form part of Denholm Energy’s engineering division which has over 400 staff with operations in Aberdeen, Glenrothes, Plymouth, Portsmouth, Falmouth, Bahrain, Saudi Arabi, Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Following the acquisition the company has changed its name from Glacier Welding Solutions to Denholm Wellclad.
