Relay Engineering was delighted to welcome Babcock International Group’s (Babcock) Devonport Managing Director, John Gane, and members of his senior leadership team to our Devonport business unit, marking an important milestone in the strong working relationship that has been developed between our organisations.
Hosted by Gavin Coulton, Operations Director for Relay Engineering’s Plymouth business unit, the visit provided an excellent opportunity to showcase our facilities, introduce our highly skilled workforce, and demonstrate the capabilities that enable us to successfully deliver critical engineering projects across the Devonport site.
The visit reflects the strength of the relationship developed through our Mechanical Framework partnership with Ian Myers and the wider Babcock team. By working collaboratively, both organisations have built a strong foundation based on trust, quality, safety, and a shared commitment to engineering excellence.
Discussions focused on the successful delivery of mechanical services across the Devonport site and how Relay Engineering can continue to support Babcock’s long-term objectives.
Gavin Coulton, Operations Director at Relay Engineering, said:
“Relay Engineering has proudly supported engineering projects within Devonport for many years, and during that time we have continued to strengthen our relationship with Babcock through delivering safe, high-quality engineering solutions. Our Mechanical Framework partnership is a reflection of the trust that has been built between our teams, and we remain committed to investing in our people, our capabilities and our facilities to ensure we continue supporting Babcock’s long-term objectives across the Devonport site. Visits such as this demonstrate the strength of that relationship and the confidence in what we can achieve together.”
